Governor’s Small Business Summit
November 5th, 2009 by flanewsSmall business owners from across the state are sharing their ideas with Governor Charlie Crist. The Governor’s Small Business Summit brought employers from across Florida to the state capitol today to have an open discussion about how government can help business thrive. Governor Charlie Crist says he’s open to suggestions about how government can make business better.
“It is important to us to listen to what their ideas might be in the terms of reducing taxes, red tape, what ever it might be that can help more small businesses do even better in Florida’s future,” said Crist.
Small businesses account for more than 90 percent of all businesses in Florida. Employers participating in the summit hope their suggestions will encourage growth, and create more jobs.
