August 1st, 2008 by flanewsGovernor Charlie Crist is staying mum on whether the McCain campaign has asked him questions about the Vice Presidency. A Tallahassee lawyer who did extensive research on Crist for Democrats two years ago says he has not been contacted suggesting that means Crist is out of the running. Asked if he was interested in the job, Crist says only that he is focused on doing the best job possible as Governor.
